It has come to my attention that in today’s society, working hard is becoming a thing of the past. I’ve discovered that if it can come fast and easy – most people will take advantage of that! When I think of work ethic, I think an attribute or something that drives a person to achieve and attain their personal dreams. There’s so much accomplishment associated with the sweat and tears. There are lessons that teach many successful people how to maintain what they have worked for.
Lately, I’ve noticed an increase in people’s desire to want something “given” to them. There are a multitude of people taking the “easy” route and want to use another’s hand to pull them up the ladder instead of climbing it themselves. This is upsetting, when you work, you build character. You learn valuable tactics and strengths to help you reach a new goal. When it’s given to you, you barely appreciate it. That’s because what it took to sustain it never developed. We work muscles! Sometimes, I think at some point everyone wants the easy route. We all desire swift results, but many of us lack the musles to sustain and understand the process. You may, for a while, enjoy the quick attainment of the end goal, however, with no sacrifice not much was gained.
This relates to business goals, relationships, personal goals, and more. You have to make an effort if you want to see results! What you gain quickly, will leave quicker! My suggestion is to really evaluate where you’re taking short cuts and eliminate those options. Challenge yourself to go beyond your limits, expectations, and logical skill. Stick it out! Keep at it! Build the tools that will keep you and propel you to the right level!
This artcile went ahead and made my day.
