Let me tell you what I’ve discovered. Something I’ve always known, but was entirely to naive to believe or admit it. I’ve concluded that it’s by far easier to for a person (including self) to be superficial and shallow rather invest and grow. Within the last few weeks I’ve been around multiple races, cultures, and genders.
I’ve discussed many topics and discovered that often we (people) take the easy road of superficial investments. I define this by merely describing our flaws, but notfully embracing or changing them. Never becoming honest enough to get to the root. We would rather utilize our war stories as a point of comparison opposed to a point of victory. There’s no strategy. We never make a plan to embrace the flaw or change which entails causes us to be the thing we can’t stand. Being fake!
It’s about time I think for us to begin recognizing who we are and what we ought to be doing to invest in our self. No longer is it okay to justify or be passive about your trouble areas that are impacting everyone around you. Excuses force you to be average. Make today the day you say I am doing some cleaning! I’m cleaning out my closets (souls) and getting rid of clutter (secrets) and wiping the dust of the shelf. Say I’m taking self to a new level and I will not continue to pacify my issues.
Say goodbye finally to the superficial investments!
