It’s always good to come back new and improved. The last few weeks I spent time renewing, refreshing, and revamping mylife! Many may laugh, but I was in serious need of a chill pill. I felt stressed and stagnate which was translating over into my business. At some point, I had a heart to heart with myself and decided to share some truths I learned while away.
1. Embrace your reality. Often we spend time wanting to do and be better instead of enjoying the reality. I scaled back some & only took in what I could handle. Instead of overloading myself I decided to under load. It gave me room to be creative and not rushed. Of course, my income changed but it was worth it and better for my clients. I recommend everyone try this if they can afford it.
2. I realized there’s nothing wrong with change. How can you grow if you don’t get comfortable with being uncomfortable? I spent time in hiding somewhat. I didn’t want to put all my prices out there, or services, etc. I was fearful of what people would say or think. I then came to this conclusion – who cares! Everyone is different if you spend time living for people – you’ll never make any changes.
3. Lastly, I decided to move forward with my talents. I came to the realization that I had been holding out, but I was only robbing myself. I had so many gifts and talents but was selling misled short. There are people out there that need your services and want them. How will people know what you have or do if you don’t let them know? Advertise yourself. It’s okay to explore your gifts and talents.
In business you’ll change your ideas often. However, growth is vital to success. Continue to evolve and be consistent with that growth. Never get to a place where you can’t or won’t change.
