Whew! My, my, my, what an amazing year it has been! I’m in complete awe – this year has taught me a few things that I’ll share briefly! Before I start, I’ve learned to be so quiet and still. I’ve learned to focus more on my inner development than what the eye can see. The lessons, challenges, moments, and experiences have completely propelled me into what I believe is true adulthood! So here it goes, hear me well, and enjoy! After all, this is a New Year!
1. I’ve learned I’m truly NOTHING without my faith! Honestly, the level of commitment to simply listening, and learning that I know nothing without God and His infinite knowledge. Seriously, whatever you channel into – draw closer to that! It’ll carry further than you know!
2. I’ve learned to sit still! Patience has never been my thing, but relocating, adjusting, and transitioning teaches you that patience is of the essence. I’ve discovered that sometimes we’re like baked cookies. We want to be the chewy soft cookie that melts in your mouth. However, we’ve learned that if we remove the cookie from the heat too fast – the cookie isn’t right. Patience is necessary to survive the changes! Without the instructions you’ll under or over cook. So wait, just wait. It’s more worthwhile than you can imagine.
3. Lastly, I’ve learned to sit back, relax, and really enjoy life. Sometimes we get so caught up in goals, achievements, planning etc. that we miss the simply joys. I’ve learned it’s okay to take a break. It’s okay to not grind everyday. It’s also okay to say, I’m
Tired! We don’t do it enough; especially as entrepreneurs. I’ve learned that what’s for me, is for me. It’s not hard to usher in something that’s destined for you. The simply joys and relaxing allows you to enjoy life effortless. Do just that!
I want to wish you all a Happy New Year! Life is good. Welcome to 2017 and please, please, balance your life out. Let life guide you and although you’ll go harder than you thought – enjoy the process!
