How can I say this? What can I say honestly? We only have 38 days left until 2017 comes and not only is it approaching fast, but this entire year has flew by! Whew! I want to encourage you to begin the declutter process in your life! This is something I think is widely acceptable in society, but is one of the least tended to in our personal life. The idea of decluttering sounds intimidating but is a much needed process. I often find myself purging every year. It’s something I have done for the last 5 yrs and is something I find to be refreshing. I purge EVERYTHING. From my clothes, to shoes, accessories, relationships, you name it! Why, because when we purge we release all the dead weight/items that have been carried with us throughout the year. Think of the last 365 days, all the drama, confusion, happy times, good news and maybe bad news etc. Are you thinking? Good! That’s a lot of emotions, and changes. All of which need to be purged from your life so that you can be clear and objective!
Here’s how we start:
1. Identify what you need and don’t need. Not only in this season, but the next season of your life. If you haven’t identified the next stage of life – do it NOW! Where are you going? What are your goals? What do you want to do?
2. Make an action plan. This is vital to your progress as we close out this year and enter into the next. This is similar to creating a vision board, a pro and con list, or even building a strategy plan to execute your plans. You need something to look at to keep you on track!
3. Get active! This isn’t the time for excuses! Often we spend more time than needed in the, “I may, I should, I will, I think etc.” I believe 2017 will be the year that your goals meet implementation! You are your planning! In other words, how will you succeed without proper execution. We have to get moving in a direction that is productive for our inner soul that is reflective on the outside!
Let’s begin to work toward progression and betterment for 2017! How dedicated can you be?
